The mission of Behavioral Health is to consistently provide high quality and culturally competent behavioral health care services to the most in-need citizens of Fulton County.  Our vision is to be the premier provider of state-of-the-science, community-based behavioral health services in the region.

All Programs

DescriptionPercentage of individuals scheduled to be seen by a licensed or credentialed professional within 2 business days from the initial request for services
Why is this important: In order to meet Accountability requirements from the State of Georgia requirements, all individuals admitted require an MD evaluation (1 hour), a BHA/SPD (Behavioral Health Assessment/Service Plan Development) (2 hours) and a Nursing Assessment (1 hour). Many behavioral health consumers are in need of psychotropic medications and need a prescriptions for medications.

Description: Percentage of individuals who achieve at least one of the goals on their Individualized Service Plan.
Why is this important: Ultimately the goal for working with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities is to improve their overall level of functioning in order for them to gain independence and live a meaningful life. Using goal accomplishment as a measure to determine an increase in functioning is a valuable tool. Goals are established based on categories determined by a Support Intensity Scale (SIS) assessment, Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST) as well as the individuals hopes and dreams.

Description: Percentage of individuals receiving Behavioral Health services that rate their overall experience as a 4.0 or greater
Why is this important: To track the satisfaction that consumers have with service provision

School based Mental Health Therapy

Description: The number of unduplicated clients served for each quarter for the specific program (YTD)
Why is this important: To track the number of Fulton County residents being served by the Department of Behavioral Health and Disabilities  programs 

Description: Maintain or exceed 80% satisfaction with services provided
Why is this important: To track the satisfaction that consumers have with service provision

Re-Entry

Description: The number of unduplicated clients served for each quarter for the specific program (YTD)
Why is this important: To track the number of Fulton County residents being served by the Department of Behavioral Health and Disabilities  programs 

Description: Percentage of clients connected to community mental health services
Why is this important: To track the impact of connecting those with mental health concerns to community resources

DUI Treatment Court

Description: The number of duplicated clients served each month and each quarter for the specific program 
Why is this important: To determine the impact the program(s) is having on the citizens of Fulton County by tracking the number of Clients being served for each quarter.

Description: Percentage of clients that will maintain a negative drug screen
Why is this important: Tracking the impact on treatment services and does it correlate to a reduction in substance use

Description: Percentage of clients who will complete program successfully by graduating
Why is this important: Tracking the impact on the treatment services and does it correlate to client's successful completion of the program

Description: Maintain or exceed 80% satisfaction with services provided
Why is this important: To track the satisfaction that consumers have with service provision

Misdemeanor Mental Health Court (MMC)

Description: Percentage of clients connected to community mental health services
Why is this important:  To track the impact of connecting those with mental health concerns to community resources

Why is this important: To determine the impact the program(s) is having on the citizens of Fulton County by tracking the number of Clients being served for each quarter.

Permanent Supportive Housing

Description: Percentage of clients remaining housed without being evicted or transferring into another property
Why is this important: Tracking the impact on service provision and if it correlates to clients maintaining housing stability

Description: Percentage of clients remaining housed without being evicted or transferring into another property

IDD

Description: The number of unduplicated clients served for each quarter for the specific program (YTD)
Why is this important: To track the number of Fulton County residents being served by DBHDD programs
