Description: Average purchasing cycle time for Invitation to Bid (ITB)
Why is this important: The intent of this measure is to determine the efficiency of the Invitation to Bid process.

Description: Average purchasing cycle time for Request for Proposal (RFP)
Why is this important: The intent of this measure is to determine the efficiency of the Request for Proposal process and to determine whether the performance measures established as industry benchmarks are being met.

Description: Average purchasing cycle time for Request for Quote (E-Quote)
Why is this important: The intent of this measure is to determine the efficiency of the E-Quote process.

Description: Percentage of user departments who report that the quality of services from Purchasing as Excellent or Very Good
Why is this important: The purpose is to provide training workshops on how to do business with the County for the business community. To communicate effectively and ensure a productive stakeholder and customer relations. Surveys assist the Department in measuring customer satisfaction, specific questions are asked so that the Department can determine whether adjustments/changes are needed.

Description: Percentage of professional positions with a professional certification
Why is this important: To encourage professional development as well as to maintain accreditation by the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing a percentage of staff must be certified.
