Registration and Elections



About the Department
The Registration and Elections Department is responsible for conducting elections in Fulton County and registering voters who reside within Fulton County. The Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections has jurisdiction over the Department of Registration and Elections. The department is headed by Director, Richard Barron who is the Chief Administrative Officer to the Board of Registration and Elections.

 During an Election the citizens of this county can rely on the department to provide them with tested and fully functioning equipment at their local precincts and early voting locations. The department moves quickly when we are informed that equipment provided may be inoperable and the department responds quickly by dispatching personnel to their location to repair or replace.



All calls are resolved on the day the report is rendered. Call received, if investigation is required, there is personnel in place to respond to all calls. Security onsite, team of election assistance assign to several locations in the same area. The department policies and procedures have given us a great advantage to ensure the citizen of this county are properly serve.


The public rely on this department to give them correct and concise responses regarding their voting status, absentee by mail ballot, registration information, and polling precinct.



Percentage of voter applications processed within 30 days business excluding blackout period has to be 50%.



The department goal and mission is to provide the voters with accurate and truthfully election results in a timely manner. All parties involved in the Election process must stay focus and on task to achieve that goal.
