Fulton County Information Technology (FCIT) provides a wide range of technology services and resources targeted to ensure Fulton County employees are supplied with the necessary tools to enable them to deliver quality services to their constituents. Our services include technical support services for IT infrastructure (e.g. data center, networks, telecommunications, hardware, etc.), IT applications support (e.g. enterprise software, business systems, web/integration) and IT administrative support services (IT project management, IT procurement, records). FCIT services more than 45 county departments, totaling over 6,000 users in over 200 locations countywide.
The internal and external environments of Fulton County are ever changing and technology is a critical supporter of the development, implementation, and enhancement of services to the citizens, employees, businesses, and visitors of Fulton County. As the largest county in the State of Georgia and due to the dynamic demands imposed on our government leaders, it is imperative that there is an overall approach for the selection, use and support of technology and that it aligns with county resources, business needs, and processes.

Why is this important: The cybersecurity team is tasked with mitigating cyber risk while protecting the County's technology assets. Users are the last line of defense in protecting technology assets and data. Users need to be trained and remain on their toes with security top of mind.
Description: Percentage of time that Enterprise Applications are running and available
Why is this important: Measurement of the availability of these critical systems is an indicator of overall system stability. Fulton County Information Technology provides a wide range of technology services and resources targeted to ensure Fulton County employees are supplied with the necessary tools to enable them to deliver quality services to their constituents.

Why is this important: One of the responsibilities of the department is to support the implementation of new systems and technology. The projects are the common method of updating existing systems and implementing new solutions. Completing the projects as committed is a measure of the technology organizations ability to meet commitments to the county government.

Why is this important: This department surveys internal customer who received services from the department for the customer service survey. This survey is sent out via email. The survey is ongoing and the participants vary.
